Bintulu, Sarawak – 16 April 2026
Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd. (PFA) has successfully renewed its Fire Certificate for the 2026–2027 period following a comprehensive renewal inspection conducted in collaboration with the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (BOMBA).
The inspection, held on 9 February 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., assessed key fire protection systems across the PFA site. The program commenced with a kick-off meeting outlining BOMBA’s inspection scope, followed by extensive testing of multiple fire safety installations, including fire alarms, fire pumps, sprinklers, clean agent systems, total flooding systems, hydrants, and fire monitors.
Upon completion, BOMBA confirmed that all systems were found to be fully operational, compliant, and fit for emergency use. Based on the positive findings, PFA’s Fire Certificate has been officially renewed for the 2026–2027 period.
Pertama Ferroalloys wishes to thank BOMBA and all involved personnel for their professionalism and cooperation throughout the inspection. The successful renewal reflects PFA’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness.
