Pertama Ferroalloys Champions Community Sports as Main Sponsor of Piala Yang Berhormat Dato Majang Renggi 2025

Bintulu, 5 May 2025 – Pertama Ferroalloys (PFA) proudly took center stage as the main sponsor of the inaugural Piala Yang Berhormat Dato Majang Renggi Badminton Tournament, held on 3–4 May 2025 at Tong Yen Trading Badminton Court.  The event, officiated by YB Dato Majang Renggi, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Port Development, and ADUN N.70 Samalaju, Bintulu, brought together local talent and ignited community spirit through sports. PFA’s commitment to community development was evident through its generous sponsorship of MYR4,000. Additionally, 16 PFA staff participated in the tournament, showcasing teamwork and enthusiasm on the court. PFA’s sponsorship aligns with its vision to be a sustainable corporation, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in promoting community involvement and development through sports.  The event provided a meaningful platform to unite residents, showcase athletic talent, and deepen ties amongst the Bintulu community.

Pertama Encourages Health and Fitness for Staff and Families at Bintulu Cops Run 2025

Bintulu, 3 May 2025 – Pertama Ferroalloys (PFA) proudly participated in the Bintulu Cops Run 2025, held on 3 May at Farley Medan Jaya, Bintulu.  The event, graced by SAC Rizal Abd Rahman Sidek, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sarawak, and Head of the Management Department, Sarawak Police Contingent, saw an impressive turnout of over 1,000 participants, including 77 PFA staff and their families. PFA’s commitment to community engagement and sustainability was evident through its contribution of 61 participants in the 5km category and 20 in the 10km category.  The event fostered inclusivity, bringing together employees from various departments and their families, as captured in vibrant group photos showcasing team spirit. Safety First as a Responsible Leader in Samalaju Industrial Park

Bintulu, Sarawak – On April 24, 2025, Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn Bhd (PFA) celebrated a key achievement: the handover of its 2025 Fire Certificate renewal at the Bintulu Fire and Rescue Station (Zone 5). This moment reflects PFA’s deep commitment to safety and its role as a responsible leader in the Samalaju Industrial Park (SIP). Tsukuba University Participation in the Singapore International Challenge with Support from Pertama Ferroalloys

Representatives from Tsukuba University Japan participated in the 2025 Singapore International Challenge, held from February 18 to 23 at the Singapore Badminton Hall East Coast. This event, sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Badminton Asia, showcased emerging talents in the sport. The Tsukuba University duo of Yamagishi Takumi and Kamiyama Koki competed fiercely in the Men’s Doubles category, successfully advancing to Round 16, where they played against Malaysian team. Meanwhile, fellow players for the Women’s Double Kamiyama Wakana and Suzaki Saori also reached Round 16 in their division against Thai team.
