Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – August 25, 2025 Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd. (PFA) is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Tsukuba Malaysia (UTMy), marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to industrial excellence, academic collaboration, and sustainable development.

The MoU was formalized at UTMy’s campus in Kuala Lumpur, establishing a dynamic partnership between one of Malaysia’s leading ferroalloy producers and a globally recognized academic institution. This strategic alliance is designed to foster mutual growth through knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and workforce development.

The MOU, signed by Mr. Yuki Nakamura, Vice Chairman and Board of Director of PFA, and Mr. Toshiyuki Inagaki, Chief Executive of UTMy, establishes a framework for cooperation in multiple areas, including Industrial Engagement, Exchange of Research Materials, Publication and Information, Joint Research Programs and Collaborative Research or Consultancy, Support for Distance Learning Courses, Academic Technical and Short Courses for Continuing Education, Student Internship Programme and CSR & Community Outreach.

The collaboration is aimed at providing long-term benefits to students, researchers, industry, and the wider community.
