Pertama Ferroalloys Deepens Commitment to Education, Contributes Industry Expertise as Panel Assessor for Politeknik Mukah’s CTEX Exhibition
BINTULU, SARAWAK – OCTOBER 30, 2025 – Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd. (PFA), a leading figure in the manufacturing industry, proudly demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence and talent development by actively participating in the COMMERCE RESEARCH, INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY EXHIBITION (CTEX) SESI: 2025/2026, hosted by Politeknik Mukah (PMU).
Solidifying the strategic partnership between the two organizations, PFA was represented by Mr. Filbert Abbit Anak Gelen, Human Resource Executive, who served as a Project Panel Assessor for the student exhibition. His involvement ensures that student research and innovation projects are evaluated against stringent, real-world industry standards, effectively bridging the gap between classroom learning and the demands of the modern industrial landscape.
The contribution of industry experts like Mr. Filbert is a vital component of PFA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its ongoing efforts to empower technical and vocational education and training (TVET).

The CTEX event, organized by PMU’s Commerce Department, took place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and featured a student project exhibition and a talk on research and innovation, fostering a culture of technology and entrepreneurship among the students. PFA’s participation underscores its role as a key industry partner dedicated to fostering meaningful cooperation that benefits students, educators, and the broader industrial ecosystem.
