Empowering Education in Bario: PFA Champions Student Success at SK Bario’s 63rd Convocation

BARIO, MIRI – On 16 December 2025, the heights of the Kelabit Highlands echoed with celebration as Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bario hosted its 63rd Pre-School Appreciation and Convocation Ceremony. The event, held at Taylor Hall, marked a significant milestone for the students of one of Sarawak’s most remote and resilient communities.

Pertama Ferroalloys (PFA) was proud to serve as the main supporter for this year’s ceremony. PFA’s contribution acted as the backbone of the program, ensuring the school could celebrate its students’ hard work with a ceremony that reflects their dedication and potential.

The inaugural recipients of the 2025 award are presented to Nathan Nawan Nicholas and Nicole Paan Lahung Collin to recognize their exemplify leadership, character, and academic brilliance.
