Key Responsibilities:-

  •  To insure the strategic raw material (SRM) supply in Pertama operations working to maximize their uses, run the production smoothly and always respecting the strategic lines about safety stock,
  • Coordinate as well as perform, all required functions from initiation of intent to purchase through to satisfactory delivery of SRM,
  • Coordinates sourcing into alternative sources of supply and materials. Works with production and operations departments along with suppliers to analyse materials and gain approval of new suppliers or materials,
  • Analyse and forecast inventory movement of SRM and products to provide medium- & long-term stock flow to meet company objectives,
  • Perform continual market analysis and monitor supplier progress. Corresponds with, and meets supplier representatives to evaluate capability and maintain positive supplier relations,
  • Reporting of production, consumption of SRM, purchase of SRM, sales,
  • Preparing a monthly & weekly summary report on production in units,
  • Preparing a monthly & weekly summary report on SRM consumption in units,
  • Preparing a monthly & weekly summary report on SRM purchase and shipments,
  • Preparing a monthly & weekly summary report on products sales and deliveries,
  • Preparing a monthly forecast for Pertama, including sales, production, raw material and costs,
  • Preparing a yearly budget for Pertama, including sales, production, income of raw material and costs,

Key Responsibilities:-

Cost & Value Analysis

  • Lead cost accounting activities, including product costing, variance analysis, and margin tracking

  • Partner with production and procurement teams to identify cost drivers and support strategic sourcing decisions

  • Develop dashboards and reports that translate cost data into actionable insights for management

Accounts Payable & Compliance

  • Oversee daily AP operations: invoice verification, posting, and vendor reconciliation

  • Ensure timely submission of e-Invoice summary reports to IRB with full compliance

  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external audit processes

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

  • Support monthly closing activities and prepare financial reports with cost breakdowns and commentary

  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting cycles with a focus on cost trends and operational KPIs

Process Improvement & ERP Engagement

  • Contribute to ERP implementation and optimization, especially across the PR-to-Payment cycle

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure financial alignment and operational clarity
  • Act as a finance partner in manufacturing decision-making, bringing analytical rigor and cost visibility

Requirement:

  1. Minimum 5 years of accounting experience

  2. Relevant academic background in accounting, finance, or related discipline

  3. Diploma or Degree qualification (with proven accounting experience)

  4. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines

  5. Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and approaches

  6. Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage

Key Competencies

  1. Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance

  2. Ability to work independently and within a team

  3. Strong communication skills in English

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Get proper instruction from the Field Supervisor to follow up different activities required during operation.
  • To observe for any leakage or abnormalities inside the furnace and report to the Shift Leader.
  • Report to maintenance for any equipment malfunction.
  • Make sure to wear complete Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when entering the plant.
  • Check the tap hole condition in the beginning of the shift and report any abnormalities to the Shift Leader.
  • Perform tapping process with the help of Hot Metal Handler either by using Oxygen Lancing, Tapping Machine or Arching method as per instructed by the superior.
  • Perform poking the tap hole during the tapping process to make sure the metal flow freely.
  • Perform tap hole repair and runner cleaning with different tool and tackles.
  • Check the ladle status before tapping to make sure it is free from the foreign particles.
  • Coordinate with the hot metal skimmer or caster for bed preparation.
  • Check for tapping consumables at the beginning of shift and report any shortfall to Shift Leader.
  • Perform housekeeping and proper shift handover to the reliever.
  • Always ready to report duty for emergency case and shift substitution
  • To comply with company Safety Policy and Procedures, 5S practice and
  • To undertake any other job assigned by immediate superior or Management from time to time.

  • Candidate must possess at least a SPM;
  • Minimum of 1 years of working experience;

Tapping
1. Check the tap hole condition in the beginning of the shift and report any abnormalities to the Field Supervisor.
2. Perform tapping process with the help of Hot Metal Handler either by using Oxygen Lancing, Tapping Machine or Arching method as per instructed by the superior.
3. Perform poking the tap hole during the tapping process to make sure the metal flow freely.
4. Perform tap hole repair & runner cleaning with different tool and tackles.
5. Check the ladle status before tapping to make sure it is free from the foreign particles.
6. Coordinate with the hot metal skimmer / Caster for bed preparation.
7. Check for tapping consumables at the beginning of shift and report any shortfall to Shift Leader. (MS rod, oxygen lancing pipe, plastic clay etc)
8. Report to maintenance for any equipment malfunction.
9. Perform housekeeping and proper shift handover to the reliever.
10. Always ready to report duty for emergency case and shift substitution.

Casting
1. Supervise and arrange working activities of heavy machinery. (Excavator, Breaker, Forklift, Lorry, Wheel Loader and etc.)
2. Maintain the availability of normal casting bed, steel mould bed for casting purpose.
3. Maintain availability of semi-final good (SFG) pre-cast area and ladle skull pit.
4. Coordinate with shift leader/furnace manager and related party to plan and manage the activities of heavy machineries.
5. Perform site condition inspection and housekeeping to ensure safe working environment for heavy machineries is maintained. (Drive/Operate Bobcat whenever necessary)
6. Perform welding and oxyacetylene cutting jobs on site.
7. Perform stock count on consumables on site and request for new stock. (MS rod, oxygen lancing pipe etc.)
8. Inspect and record trolley and crane condition daily.
9. Inspect ladle trolley track line and perform housekeeping immediately to avoid risk of trolley damage and derail from track line.
10. Perform sampling of casted hot metal as per SOP and sample to be sent immediately to laboratory for analysis check.
11. Inspect equipment condition at casting ground and repair whenever is required.
12. Always ready to work in shift as Operator Replacement at plant.
